Official audio manuals, firmware and support sources
Choose your exact model and generation before using a manual, driver or update. These links lead to manufacturer resources; SoundPath Lab is an independent publication and does not host firmware packages here.
WiiM
Model-specific setup guidance, troubleshooting and release notes. Select the matching device; a feature or fix listed for one WiiM model does not apply to every model.
FiiO
FiiO official support and downloads · K11 R2R support questions
Use the support centre to find manuals, drivers and firmware. The linked K11 R2R questions apply to that model; do not substitute instructions for the standard K11 or another DAC.
Arylic
Manuals, app and integration resources grouped by product. Match names such as B50, B50 SE and BP50 carefully, and follow the manufacturer's model-specific update instructions.
Eversolo
Eversolo official downloads centre
Model-specific manuals, firmware and software. Distinguish original, Gen 2 and Master variants; check the release notes and update method on the selected product page.
What should I record before an update?
Record the model, hardware revision if known, current firmware, control-app version, phone or computer operating system, region and the symptom you want to resolve. Check whether the release is stable or beta and whether rollout is staged. A release note is a manufacturer statement; a verified fix needs evidence for the affected setup.
For an unresolved problem, compare the documented issue record or submit a correction with evidence.

These are release-note claims, not a general Android Auto fix or closure of the Apple OS 27 case. Production remains Roon build 1700 / ARC build 427 at this check. | Roon Labs | RoonOS — Nucleus One / Titan; ROCK on supported Intel NUC | Build 284 — Early Access | 12 Oct 2026; checked 15 Oct 2026 | Early Access only; brand changes and fixes not independently verified | Adds configurable guest or password Data-share access; SMB1 is optional and off by default because it is less secure. Roon describes improved SMB3 / encrypted-share handling, authentication retries, error reporting and WebUI. Blank credentials now mean anonymous access; an existing guest share may require username guest. Full share improvements require the latest RoonServer Early Access, but the release leaves its build placeholder unresolved, so the exact minimum is Unknown. Back up before branch changes; database downgrade compatibility is not guaranteed. Not for every historical Nucleus; no unrelated SMB, RoPieee or Apple OS 27 Issue is closed and no SPL retest occurred. Follow-up checked 16 October: in the B281/B282 update discussion, Roon staff attributed the reinstall failure to a script bug in those builds and said the move to B284 must use the Roon app update route, not WebUI reinstall. One owner reported that reinstall worked after reaching B284 through the app, while noting an intermediate error screen. A later Nucleus-as-endpoint case still lacked that app update route; staff were investigating. The topic’s resolved title is not universal recovery or a SoundPath Lab retest. Keep the original WebUI failure history and endpoint exception open; do not improvise reinstall or downgrade procedures. | Official RoonOS 284 notes and model scope · Branch / database precautions |

How each record is verified
- The version and release date must come from a manufacturer, official support portal, official app-store listing or a reproducible device screen.
- Device firmware is distinguished from mobile apps, desktop drivers and cloud-side service changes.
- Staged rollouts are labelled Rolling; availability on one device does not prove global availability.
- Regional, operating-system and hardware-generation limits are recorded when they matter.
- A change log is not treated as proof that a defect is fixed on every system. Independent testing and reader reports are tracked separately.
- If sources conflict, the entry is marked for editorial review instead of silently choosing one value.
Fields used in the monitoring database
Every product-level entry should include: brand, exact model, hardware revision, firmware version, app name and version, operating system, release date, rollout type, region, key changes, known regressions, update method, rollback availability, official source, verification date and editorial confidence.
Submit an update or correction
If your device shows a newer version, send the exact model, region, firmware/app version, date observed and a screenshot or official link through our Contact page. Reader reports are treated as leads until independently verified.
For defects and practical limitations, use the Product Issues & Limitations center. The Corrections Policy explains how verified changes are updated.

Firmware: Rev1009. Release date: 1 Aug 2025. Verified by SoundPath Lab: 11 Aug 2026.
Update path: OTA through the latest Audio-Technica | Connect app. Audio-Technica lists Rev1003, Rev1007 and Rev1008 as eligible source versions.
Change and fix: Audio-Technica says Rev1009 improves security-related functionality. UK OPSS states that the patch addresses a Bluetooth SoC vulnerability that could allow someone in close proximity to take control of an affected device.
Affected scope: UK OPSS identifies ATH-CKS50TW2BK and ATH-CKS50TW2GR in batches before 2526. The manufacturer's updater also lists ATH-CKS50TW2 variants DV, GG, ML and R2, but the regulator's affected-batch statement should not be extrapolated to those variants.
Known risks / unknowns: exact CVE or exploit details, incident count, total affected population, scope outside the UK report and independent post-update retest results are Unknown. Earbuds cannot be used during the update; Audio-Technica says the iOS process can take up to 15 minutes.
Verification: High — official manufacturer release notes plus a government product-safety report. Issue status: resolved-pending-verification.

Source watch and Early Access — dated September 2026 records
Source watch and Early Access — 4 September 2026 addendum
Historical record: Roon build 1686 / ARC build 426 below were Early Access releases. At the 1 October check, the Production snapshot was Roon build 1694 / ARC build 427, released 22 September 2026. It is historical: the current main table records Roon build 1700 Production and unchanged ARC build 427, separately from Early Access 1708 / ARC 432 (checked 16 October). The early streaming-waveform item is not carried into the production claims. RoonOS remains a separate branch.
| Brand / ecosystem | Product or service | Version / date | Status | What changed / why it matters | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Naim | Naim Internet Radio directory and metadata service | Service update reported 2 Sep 2026; work performed during Aug 2026 | Official service-side report; no client firmware version | Naim says it updated more than 800 station records after stream-server changes, especially in the United States. It also reports a dedicated extended-metadata server, more than 800 stations using the newer metadata system and roughly 50 additions per month. The exact player, app, region and preset impact remains Pending verification. | Naim official community report |
| Roon Labs | Roon / RoonServer / Roon Remote; Roon ARC | Roon 2.73 build 1686; ARC 1.83 build 426 — 1 Sep 2026 | Historical Early Access; superseded by production build 1694 / ARC 427 | Adds custom images for local Roon playlists and waveform display for streaming tracks; improves Google Cast discovery and stability, shuffle, drag-and-drop, Live Radio, scrobbling and client behaviour. Manufacturer-described potential fixes are not treated as verified resolutions. | Roon Early Access notes |
| Roon Labs | RoonOS for Nucleus / ROCK | Build 282 — 11 Sep 2026 | Historical Early Access; superseded by build 284; original fix claim remains pending verification | Quick follow-up release that Roon says fixes inability to connect to an SMB shared folder by hostname in certain cases. It supersedes build 281 in the Early Access channel; build 280 remains historical. Production availability, the exact affected network conditions, rollback behaviour and independent confirmation remain Pending verification. Do not extend this status to unrelated SMB security or anonymous-access reports. | RoonOS Early Access notes |
Further verification and issue impact
- Naim's change is service-side directory and metadata maintenance, not proof of a device firmware or app fix.
- Roon 2.73 build 1694 / ARC 1.83 build 427 are Production as of 22 September 2026. Only the older build 1686 / ARC 426 row is historical Early Access. RoonOS 282 is a historical Early Access record, superseded by build 284; the current branch and limited hardware scope appear in the main table.
- RoonOS build 282 carries an official fix claim for SMB hostname connections in certain cases. It is resolved-pending-verification, not resolved-verified, and does not resolve unrelated anonymous-SMB-access reports.
- SPL-ROON-RB-001 remains resolved-verified only for the RoPieee 2026.08.3 endpoint-disappearance incident.
- No Product Issues or lifecycle status changed.
Revision: 4 Sep 2026 — Added Naim Internet Radio's August directory and metadata maintenance report plus Roon 2.73/ARC 1.83 and RoonOS 280 Early Access releases.
Revision: 14 Sep 2026 — Added Shure WAVETOOL 4 and replaced the RoonOS Early Access build 280 current row with build 282. WAVETOOL platform requirements and migration behaviour remain Pending verification. RoonOS 282 is not production, and its SMB hostname fix remains resolved-pending-verification without independent retest. No Product Issues or lifecycle status changed.
Revision: 1 Oct 2026 — Clarified that Roon build 1686 / ARC 426 are historical test releases, superseded by the production build 1694 / ARC 427 record. Removed obsolete production-pending wording without extending the streaming-waveform claim or changing the RoonOS branch.
