Effective 6 September 2026. SoundPath Lab rewards contribution quality and healthy participation—not positive opinions.

Two separate balances

Contribution Points recognize the long-term value of verified contributions. They are lifetime contribution history and do not decrease when optional rewards are used.

Reward Credits recognize meaningful contributions and healthy participation. They may occasionally be used for optional rewards, gifts, early-access opportunities or community benefits. Availability and eligibility may vary and are not guaranteed. Reward Credits have no fixed cash value.

How points are earned

  • Valid registration: 10 Contribution Points and 10 Reward Credits, once.
  • First valid member activity each day: 1 Reward Credit, capped at 20 per calendar month.
  • Seven consecutive active days: 3 Reward Credits; 10 and 20 active days in a month: 5 and 10 Reward Credits.
  • First complete Owner Pulse: 10 + 10. Yes, Maybe and No receive exactly the same points.
  • Decision Feedback: 5 + 5. Every available answer receives exactly the same points.
  • Approved Owner Experience, Compatibility Report or Product Issue: 30 + 30.
  • First valid 3-month Owner check-in: 15 + 15; first valid 6-month check-in: 25 + 25.
  • Accepted answer: 20 + 20 after editorial approval.
  • Valid original photo or screenshot evidence: 10 + 10 after editorial approval.
  • Valid reproduction steps added to an approved contribution: 20 + 20 after editorial approval.
  • Confirmed firmware, app, feature or product-status change: 20 + 20 after editorial approval.
  • Confirmed product data correction: 30 + 30 after editorial approval.
  • Confirmed issue fix or resolution result: 40 + 40 after editorial approval.

Long-term Owner check-ins become eligible only after the relevant account-linked time period. Re-editing the same stage does not create another reward. The 12-month check-in reward is reserved and not enabled in Phase 1.

What does not earn points

Ordinary page views, article reading, refreshes, likes, ordinary comments, purchase-link clicks, advertising clicks, shares, positive ratings and Follow Product do not earn points in Phase 1.

Review, disclosure and reversals

Structured submissions and evidence bonuses remain pending until editorial review. Rewarded public participation is disclosed. Rewards never depend on whether an opinion is positive, negative or neutral. Duplicate, mistaken, fraudulent or invalid rewards may be reversed with a separate audit entry; issued ledger history is not silently deleted.

Levels and contributor status

Member Level reflects long-term participation. Contributor Status reflects approved Contribution Points: Member (0–99), Contributor (100–299), Experienced Contributor (300–999), and Trusted Contributor (1,000+ only after editorial review). Status never gives a vote extra weight and never automatically changes an editorial verdict.
