Eversolo OTA v1.5.90 Adds Web Control, Cached Streaming and evotune Pro

Eversolo released OTA firmware v1.5.90 on 22 July 2026, combining a substantial music-library rebuild with cached streaming playback, browser-based control and an expanded evotune Pro room-correction system. The release also addresses several reliability problems involving LMS, expired streaming-service sessions, playlists and playback queues.

This is an official firmware-release report based on Eversolo's announcement and product download pages. SoundPath Lab has not independently installed the update on every supported model.

Applicable models and verification status

Eversolo's product download pages list v1.5.90 for the DMP-A10, DMP-A8, DMP-A6 Gen 2, DMP-A6 Master Gen 2, T8 and Play. The update is delivered online through the device's system-update function and is being rolled out in stages.

Pending verification: Eversolo's English and Chinese catalog summaries are not fully synchronized. The English catalog index lists v1.5.90 for the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Gen 2, but the individual download resources for those new models were incomplete when SoundPath Lab checked on 17 August 2026. Owners should rely on the exact model name and the version offered on the device rather than assuming that every similarly named model has received the same package.

What v1.5.90 adds

The most visible additions are:

• cached streaming playback with a buffer-progress display;
• Web Control and the larger-screen Boundless Display interface;
• a rebuilt Music Library intended to improve processing and display speed;
• pull-to-refresh and playback-history controls;
• more VU-meter layouts and visibility controls;
• track recommendations on the playback-details screen;
• evotune Pro room correction and room-correction refinements.

These are not cosmetic changes alone. Cached playback and the rebuilt library can affect day-to-day responsiveness, while browser control changes how a streamer can be operated from a computer or tablet without relying solely on the mobile app.

Fixes and reliability changes

Eversolo's release notes say v1.5.90 fixes an occasional LMS freeze and a problem in which some music services did not refresh automatically after a login session expired. It also addresses playlist track counts failing to update after removals, albums sometimes starting immediately when they were only added to the queue, and radio or cloud content not refreshing or playing correctly in some cases.

The release also lists broad optimizations for SMB access, CD ripping, search, favorites, large music libraries, ID3 data, UPnP discovery, CUE files, playlist import/export and radio playback.

Update method

On a supported Eversolo device, open All Apps → System Upgrade → Online Update and check the version offered for that exact model. Because distribution is staged, v1.5.90 may not appear on every device at the same time.

Before updating, note the current firmware version and confirm that the device is identified by the same model name used on Eversolo's download page. Do not install a package intended for a different model.

Risks and limitations

Eversolo does not list a rollback warning or a newly introduced fault in the official notes. That does not prove the release is free of side effects. SoundPath Lab has not independently verified installation, rollback availability, every regional music service or every model in the worldwide rollout.

The fixes above should not be treated as proof that a matching problem is resolved on every unit. If a corresponding Product Issues record is established later, a manufacturer claim would initially support resolved-pending-verification; independent retesting would still be required for resolved-verified.
