SoundPath Lab is committed to accurate, transparent, and useful audio information.

How we handle errors

When we identify a material factual error, we correct the article promptly. Material corrections may include inaccurate specifications, compatibility claims, pricing context, release information, test conditions, or conclusions that are not supported by the evidence available.

Minor edits

Spelling, grammar, formatting, and clarity improvements may be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning of the article.

Material corrections

When a correction changes the meaning of an article, we add a dated correction or update note explaining what changed. We do not silently remove a material error.

Product and firmware changes

Audio products, apps, streaming services, and firmware can change after publication. When an article is updated to reflect a later product or software change, we identify the update date and distinguish the new information from the original publication context.

How to report an error

Readers, manufacturers, developers, and distributors may report a possible error through our Contact page. Please include the article URL, the specific statement in question, and a reliable primary source where possible.

Review and independence

Correction requests are reviewed by the SoundPath Lab Editorial Team. A brand or commercial relationship does not guarantee that a requested change will be accepted. We correct verifiable errors, not unfavorable opinions or conclusions supported by the stated evidence.
