FiiO states that the problem was “completely resolved” in production from November 20, 2024. That is a manufacturer resolution claim, not independent verification. Buyers of used or older stock should not infer the production date from purchase date alone.

FiiO notes that the sealed front cavity created when the headphone is worn can damp the behavior. This does not prove that every reported noise is a defect; evaluation should be performed while worn and under repeatable conditions.
Buyer guidance
- For FT1 or FT1 Pro, inspect the pivot screws and holder before the return window closes.
- For older or used stock, ask for production-date evidence if the seller claims it is from the revised run.
- Test FT1 Pro at sensible volume while worn; do not use dangerous SPL solely to provoke driver excursion.
- Record the track, frequency, channel, volume setting and whether the symptom repeats before requesting service.
- Do not generalize either issue to every unit; FiiO describes limited scope but gives no incidence data.
