U.S. suggested prices are $399 for GX-AiO 50, $499 for GX-AiO 100 and $599 for GX-AiO 150, with availability planned for fall 2026.

Sonance launches the James Natural Collection

The James Natural Collection is a two-inch-deep family of on-wall speakers and a matching 10-inch subwoofer. Horizontal models can be configured as one-, two- or three-channel speakers, while vertical versions are single-channel.

Sonance offers dimensions matched to 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch 2026 Samsung Frame TVs, plus minimum-size versions. Five painted or real-wood finishes and multiple grille fabrics are available. The NC10-SUB can be wall-mounted, pedestal-mounted or placed flat under furniture. Preorders are open to authorised Sonance dealers in the Americas, with global availability expected in the first quarter of 2027.

Why it matters: This is a custom-install product family built around visual integration, not a universal retail soundbar. Final system price will depend on channel count, size, finish and installation. Sony introduces ULT TOWER MAX, ULT TOWER 7 and ULT TOWER 5

Sony's second-generation party-speaker range adds FLAT and LIVE sound modes alongside ULT1 and ULT2, plus custom EQ through the Sony | Sound Connect app. Sony specifies up to 2,150 watts for ULT TOWER MAX, 420 watts for ULT TOWER 7 and 300 watts for ULT TOWER 5. MAX and 7 use 360° Party Sound, while all three add XLR, RCA and USB-C connectivity.

Party Chain uses Auracast to synchronise compatible Sony speakers. TOWER 7 and 5 carry an IPX4 rating only when used vertically with the port cover closed. Sony claims up to 30 hours of battery life for TOWER 7 and 20 hours for TOWER 5 under specified test conditions. European suggested prices are €1,500, €600 and €400 respectively, with September 2026 availability.

Why it matters: The lineup now spans portable party use through semi-professional DJ and karaoke applications. Published wattage and battery figures do not by themselves establish usable output, distortion or real-world endurance, so independent testing remains important—especially for the €1,500 flagship.

Klipsch previews Reference Signature and lists RP-500PM

Klipsch says final specifications and pricing will follow at the winter 2026 launch.

The RP-500PM is Klipsch's first powered monitor in the Reference Premiere line. The official product page confirms built-in amplification, multiple inputs and Klipsch Connect app support. Event reporting adds HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, optical, RCA line/phono, 3.5 mm input and subwoofer output, with a reported North American target of December at $799.99.

Why it matters: Reference Signature is not ready for a final value comparison because pricing and complete specifications remain pending. RP-500PM is the nearer-term buying decision, particularly for users who want TV and turntable connectivity without a receiver, but regional price and availability should be confirmed.

Magnetar ULTIMA reaches the U.S. at $12,000

Its unusual power design uses BYD lithium-based DC stages intended to isolate transport, clock and signal paths, with a unified 10 MHz timing reference.

The ULTIMA is reported as shipping through authorised dealers at a U.S. MSRP of $12,000. It is a transport rather than an analogue-output universal player, so an external processor or DAC remains part of the system.

Why it matters: The product signals continued demand for premium physical-media playback, but the noise-isolation and timing claims require independent measurement. Buyers should also compare format support, serviceability and system-level cost with Magnetar's less expensive UDP900MKII and UDP800MKII before assuming the flagship produces an audible advantage.
