Arylic B50
A compact Bluetooth 5.2 integrated amplifier and transmitter with HDMI ARC, optical, line, phono, USB storage and USB-C PC-audio inputs for passive speakers and a powered subwoofer.
Category: Bluetooth integrated amplifier · Maturity: L2 Decision Profile · Evidence: Primary-source verified with limited SoundPath Lab firmware-workflow evidence · Last reassessed: 2026-09-07
Product overview
What problem does it solve?
The B50 puts Bluetooth receiving and transmission, passive-speaker amplification, TV ARC, phono, optical, line and USB sources into one small system hub. Its role is local-source integration—not Wi-Fi streaming.
Real system role: TV, turntable, computer, USB drive, optical/line source or Bluetooth source → Arylic B50 → 4–8 ohm passive speakers and an optional powered subwoofer. It can also transmit the selected source to compatible Bluetooth receivers, but the official manual says passive-speaker output is silent in transmitter mode.

These are official specifications, not SoundPath Lab measurements. Interface presence is not proof that every TV, cartridge, drive or computer will work.
Who should buy it?
- Compact passive-speaker systems needing TV ARC, phono, optical and Bluetooth in one box
- Users who want Bluetooth transmission to one or two compatible receivers
- Desk or small-room systems whose speaker load and output needs fit the official limits
Who should skip it?
- Anyone expecting Wi-Fi streaming, AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect or network multiroom
- Systems requiring simultaneous passive-speaker and Bluetooth-transmitter output
- Buyers needing verified difficult-load power, thermal or long-term stability data
- Users who meant the different B50 SE or BP50
Current verdict
Recommended with strict fit conditions
Useful when one compact box must combine Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, phono, optical, USB and passive-speaker power. It is the wrong product when the requirement is Wi-Fi streaming or verified high-load performance.
Keep what you already have
Keep a working amplifier unless the B50’s exact input mix or Bluetooth-transmitter role solves a documented gap. Do not treat B50 as an upgrade from BP50 or B50 SE; they are different products and system roles.
What does it replace?
A basic Bluetooth receiver/transmitter, compact integrated amplifier, simple PCM HDMI-ARC extractor, basic phono stage and USB/optical source selector in a compatible passive-speaker system.
What does it NOT replace?
A Wi-Fi streamer, AirPlay or Google Cast endpoint, network multiroom device, headphone amplifier, independently load-tested power amplifier or simultaneous speaker-plus-Bluetooth distribution system.
Biggest limitations
- It is Bluetooth-centered, not a Wi-Fi network streamer.
- Bluetooth transmitter mode mutes passive-speaker output according to the official manual.
- HDMI ARC is PCM-only; USB-C PC audio is specified at 48 kHz.
- ACPWorkbench is sold separately.
- Power, heat, clipping, phono noise, HDMI recovery and app behavior remain untested.
Alternatives
Arylic BP50 when speaker amplification is not needed; WiiM Amp when Wi-Fi streaming and network multiroom are required; Fosi Audio BT20A Pro when a simpler Bluetooth amplifier is enough.
Current value / buying decision
Worth buying only when its unusually broad wired-input set and Bluetooth-transmitter role are needed and the lack of network streaming is acceptable.
Evidence Ladder
Compatibility
- Primary-source verified: 4–8 ohm speaker connection, powered-sub output, PCM HDMI ARC, optical PCM, line/phono, USB storage, USB-C PC audio and documented Bluetooth modes/codecs.
- SoundPath Lab tested: Windows firmware recovery/update workflow and final updater version only.
- Editorial inference: suitable as a compact local-source hub when the complete signal path fits the documented limits.
- Unknown: universal TV/CEC behavior, cartridge matching, real output under load, Bluetooth range/codec negotiation, GO CONTROL stability and long-term reliability.
Known issues, firmware and software maturity
SoundPath Lab verified a Windows firmware recovery/update workflow ending at B50 version 64-43eaa832. That record covers the update procedure and volume-control fix path only; it does not prove audio performance or general stability. B50 and BP50 use different firmware branches, and B50 SE is excluded.

No additional material issue has been verified by SoundPath Lab as of 2026-09-07. This is not a claim that no issues exist.
Evidence boundary
What we verified
Official product identity, inputs, outputs, codecs, speaker-load specification, app role and operating limits were checked against Arylic’s product page and manual. SoundPath Lab separately verified the Windows firmware workflow.
What we have not tested
No speaker-load, listening, measurement, HDMI, phono, Bluetooth-range or GO CONTROL functional test is attached. The B50 is therefore L2, not L3.
Hands-on core functions: No · Measured: No · Long-term tested: No
