Matrix Audio concentrates on network streamers, digital transports, DACs, headphone amplifiers and matching pre/power amplification. Product comparisons should separate MA Player services, local-library support, digital routing and analogue/headphone stages.

- SI-1 is a network isolator with one LAN input and one isolated LAN output. It is not a streamer, DAC or speaker amplifier.
- NA-1 is an analogue headphone amplifier and preamplifier; its rear USB-C port is for firmware updates only.
- ND-1 is a DAC with adjustable RCA/XLR line outputs. Headphones and passive speakers need appropriate separate amplification.
These distinctions come from manufacturer documentation, not SoundPath Lab listening or measurement results. Compare the required signal path before treating these models as alternatives.

What to verify before buying
- Exact model name, generation and suffix; do not transfer specifications between revisions.
- Required analogue and digital inputs/outputs, including whether USB is host, device or power-only.
- Current streaming services, control app, network protocol and regional availability.
- Driver, firmware and manual version for the intended operating system.
- Manufacturer-rated output figures remain manufacturer claims until SoundPath Lab or another traceable source measures the same configuration.
