Limits and source qualifications
Latency, radio stability, voice uplink and codec negotiation were not independently tested. Receiver and firmware support remain decisive
- The maker compatibility graphic explicitly excludes AirPods. Pro2 marketing also discusses LE Audio/Auracast, which still require a compatible receiver and enabled firmware; no blanket AirPods or voice guarantee is accepted
Alternatives by need
Pro2 adds protocols in the documented table; Pro already covers LDAC/aptX. SIGMA Pro receives Bluetooth and powers wired headphones, a different signal direction
