Denon Brand Profile
Denon brand profile covering current HARMAN ownership, product families, HEOS boundaries, support evidence and unresolved lifecycle questions.
Brand evidence profile · Foundation v1.0
Denon is a Japan-origin audio brand that traces its history to 1910. It is now part of the Sound United consumer-audio portfolio acquired by HARMAN in September 2025; HARMAN is a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics.
Product families and HEOS
SoundPath Lab currently tracks nine Denon products across AV receivers, network stereo receivers, compact systems and streaming amplification. HEOS is built into many connected Denon products, but not every Denon product. Denon notes that an “H” in a model name is often an indicator of HEOS support; the individual product page still needs to be checked before assuming compatibility.
Support and lifecycle
Denon provides official FAQs, manuals, product registration, warranty information, authorized service centers and a product archive for previous models. These establish an active support structure but do not define a single firmware or repair horizon for every model and region. All nine tracked product lifecycle states currently remain Unknown in the SoundPath Lab catalog.
Evidence status
Ownership, history and HEOS scope are verified from HARMAN and Denon sources. Model-level firmware duration, repair availability and owner-remedy evidence remain Unknown. No SoundPath Lab brand-level hands-on conclusion is claimed.
Manufacturer response: Not contacted. This does not mean the brand declined to respond.
