UK product-safety authorities have confirmed a Bluetooth System-on-Chip vulnerability affecting specified Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 earbuds from batches produced before code 2526\. The official report says a person in close proximity could take control of an affected device. It states that the Bluetooth SoC vulnerability could enable a person in close proximity to take control of the device. The authority says Audio-Technica contacted affected customers and released firmware to patch the vulnerability.
